HOMELESS PEOPLE NEED MENTAL HELP AND A PLACE TO LIVE

TRENTON—On Tuesday, May 21st, we reported live on the death of an unidentified young man who was lying face down on the ground, already covered with a white blanket, at the entrance of an uninhabited building on South Broad Street. Earlier today, we went to see if there was anyone else in that place, but the bed next to where the young man was found dead was empty. This is not the only time that this type of situation has been reported; there are dozens of homeless people in the city of Trenton who need help to overcome alcohol addictions or the use of some drug that does not allow them to have a better quality of life. The call is to non-profit organizations and authorities of Trenton and the state of New Jersey to take action on the matter and help these homeless people who continue to grow every day.

We know that organizations like Rescue Mission or Catholic Charities do their work but are insufficient.
